About Me

An expat of Texas, I now call Brooklyn home. I've had wide experience in freelance video editing, having worked in music (Def Jam, Island Records), fashion (Club Monaco, Brooks Brothers, Penguin, Marc Ecko) and advertising (Translation, Droga5) with clients such as Google, Under Armour, Honey Maid, Mattress Firm, The New Museum, and more. Currently I am a full-time video editor at Condé Nast Entertainment working on long form videos for brands such as WIRED, Bon Appétit, GQ, Pitchfork, and others.

I began my training with audio production and broadcast management at the University of Texas, Arlington, and then completed my master’s in media studies at The New School (and did a quick stint teaching editing to kids in Rio de Janeiro favelas).

Besides being asked how to cook huevos rancheros, what new music I'm into, and how to solve difficult video editing challenges, I'm most often asked how to pronounce my name. For the record, phonetically, it’s pronounced East-an (short for Estanislado…I don't expect you to be able to call me that).

Fun facts: Honey, avocados and Winnie (my dog) are things that make me happy, and I spend way too much money and time building my plant collection. I also have an insatiable appetite for music. Just look at my Spotify!
